 I remember when I first saw the film Arrival, in which aliens changed the main heroin's way of thinking, it impressed me a lot. Though the plot is quite fantastic, reality shows that sometimes a foreigner may seem almost like an alien. How does the native language shape the way we think? Can our language be a thing that limits our interaction really? Those are the questions worth thinking over.
